One of the best tips, related to your lost dino, is that you can use the server site (check here
http://ark.spectrumdominus.com/#/server ... ers/online to see everyone online on the Island server for instance) to find yourself and your dinos, including where they are on the map, it's just awesome. Also, most people will spend more time on Discord than on the forums
Events are generally planned and held by admins, be on time, listen to the instructions and enjoy them for great rewards!
I think everything is basically covered by the rules otherwise, be respectful, joking is fine, but don't annoying others (or prevent them playing) and it's always fine to ask others, it's pretty easy to find out who's been around for a while on discord for instance. We have a lot of newer players, people like to tribe up and ally up, working together/trading/breeding/playing solo everything kind of goes, as long as the rules (and the spirit they were written in) are followed.
