Flight speed soup is very expensive to make. Any way to reduce the required materials?

Would you really want to?
I think that giving your flyer the ability to out run a wyvern for example, should come at a cost, and a considerable one at that. It makes it so you will have to take the time to create it and think twice before using it. Otherwise it will allow people to zippity do da all over the map with little effort to do so. The players should be challenged and committed, otherwise everything is just to easy to accomplish. What fun is that?

needing 80 beers for the best soup that only lasts 10 mins is a bit expensive imo. i've never made beer so i'm not really sure how hard it is to make. i'll have to test it out before i can suggest anything.

The 80 beers is needed for the highest one: the 3 times flight speed, which would equal for a ptera a movement speed of 405.
With that movement speed you could get anywhere on the map and back, and nothing would be able to catch you. It does take one hell of a long time to create the beer, but if you are planning to use this the 3x speed then maybe the cost should be high.
I will look into what the other levels cost and get back to you .

Here are the speed rates and the cost of each (beer wise):
0.5 - 2 beers
1.0 - 5 beers
1.5 - 10 beers
2.0 - 20 beers
2.5 - 40 beers
3.0 - 80 beers

The recipe also calls for Narc and Stim berries, which also double with each level.
i.e.
0.5 speed = 2 beers, 25 Narcotics, and 5 Stimulants
up to 3.0 speed = 80 beers, 800 Narcotics, and 200 Stimulants

Using the "Bulk Dry beer Keg" it took 20 min to brew up 2 beers

A little more than 24 hrs later I have 93 beers. Might have had more if I didn't run out of thatch (this chews through a lot of thatch).

I just put the mod update system in place. Whenever a new version is released of any of the installed mods, the server will detect it within 20 minutes and start a restart cycle to update it. Now we just wait for new mod versions to be released to see if it works

So... Ragnarok is no longer an installed mod. Updated server to use the "vanilla" map
